General Appearance

 The Extreme American Bully is to give the impression of great strength for its size. Medium to large size dog with a muscular body and blocky head. Powerful in its movement and should display effortless movement at the same time. Very active and alert to its surroundings. The American Bully should carry the appearance of heavy bone structure with more bully features and muscle definition than the Standard American Bully.

HEAD
Medium in length, with a broad skull, very pronounced cheek muscles, distinct stop, and high set ears.
Ears- Natural or cropped
Eyes- All colors except albinism. Eye shape is oval to slightly roundish, and set far apart.
Muzzle- Short-Medium blocky upper side or  squared to fall away abruptly below eyes.
Jaws- well definition.
Under jaw- required to be strong.
Lips- semi close and even preferred but slight looseness is allowed.
Upper Teeth- to meet tightly outside lower teeth in form & scissor bite accepted
Nose- all colors acceptable

NECK
Very Heavy, slightly arched, tapering from shoulder to back of skull. Compact to medium size should have minimal or no loose skin. Some looseness is allowed but no over exaggerated looseness.

SHOULDERS
The shoulders should be more strong and muscular with blade being set wide and far apart then the Standard American Bully.

BACK
Medium back length, a slight sloping from withers to rump or straight accepted with gentle short slope at butt to base of tail. A little longer back is acceptable as longer as it doesn’t give the dog the appearance of being un-proportioned.

BODY
The body should have well-sprung ribs, deep in rear and all ribs close together. With the legs set rather wide apart to permit chest development The chest should be deep and broad. The Extreme Bully should carry the more exaggerated chest features then the Standard Bully.

TAIL
Short to medium in comparison to size, low set, tapering to a fine point. Kinks and knots are serious faults.

LEGS
The front legs are to be straight, larger or rounder bones compared to the standard bully, upright pasterns are preferred.
The feet should be straight. Feet that turn outwards is accepted, but is a fault. Feet should be of moderate size, well arched and compact. The hindquarters are to be well muscled, let down at hocks, turning neither in nor out.

COAT
Short, close to the body & soft to the touch, should have a glossy look.

COLOR
All colors and patterns are accepted except for merle.

SIZE
Dogs should be healthy and should not reach the point where it is obese. Both male and female should have  heavier body frames and more overall definition and body mass.

GAIT
The gait should be effortless and powerful. The action must be unrestrained, free and vigorous with powerful drive off the rear. Should maintain a straight topline while in movement, and converge well with no problems naturally. Given the size and exaggerated features of the Extreme Bully the movement will not be a free moving as a standard bully, therefore not penalized for movement.

 

FAULTS
Faults to be penalized for showing are: Kinked tail / Twisted tail / Knotted tail / Curled tail / Excessively short tail / Pink or Albino eyes / Undershot mouth / Overshot mouth / Severe turn to the pasterns or front feet(easty westy). / Severe turn to rear hocks. / Un-descended testicle.
